Hello, my name is Mrs. James and I’m excited to teach your child this year! Originally from Kentucky, my family relocated here to Virginia when my husband accepted a position with a local church. I graduated from University of the Cumberlands with a BA in Psychology and Public Health. My previous work experience includes substance abuse and mental health counseling but while taking time to stay at home with my 2 boys the last 5 years, I have enjoyed teaching online. Learning is so much fun and I am passionate about cultivating a safe and creative space for kids to grow into who God has created them to be through academics. I enjoy family time, cooking, time outside and reading.
